Mr. Roberts is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with degrees in Economics and Political Science. He also holds an MA in International Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law.  Mr. Roberts holds the FINRA Series 7, Series 24, and Series 65 licenses in addition to a General Lines Insurance License in the state of Texas. He is also a Registered Financial Consultant with the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants.

In a blended family with his wife Linda, they have five daughters, three sons, six granddaughters, and two grandsons, though Linda points out that the grandchildren are all his.
